Position
Summary:
Coordinates and is responsible for ongoing maintenance, preventative maintenance, maintenance systems, property and asset protection, and major repairs.

Essential Functions:
Conduct facility and equipment inspections and identify maintenance and housekeeping needs, and report findings to supervisor for plan of actionManages daily maintenance requests and ensures work is done in a timely mannerRegularly performs maintenance tasks, equipment repair, and facility repairs that may include plumbing, electrical, carpentry, small engine repair, automotive, HVAC, and equipment repairTracks maintenance and custodial supplies for facilities and anticipates needs to ensure materials and supplies are on handSupports custodial and program staff as needed, ensuring camp is sanitary, clean and meets guest expectationsCollaborates with maintenance director and other department directors on developing preventative maintenance planInspect vehicles for safety and cleanliness on a regular basisImplements inventory control, preventative maintenance, and other programsEnsure protection and proper care of assetsFollow and enforce safety and risk standards, other policies and procedures including but not limited to the Safety Data Information bookFollow camp and Association policies and procedures for health and safetyAttends all staff meetings, trainings and other YMCA functions as required by SupervisorMaintain open lines of communication with participants, staff and supervisorPerform other duties as assigned Core Competencies (Supervisor):

Qualifications:
Education & Certifications:
Must be 21 years of ageFirst Aid and CPR certification requiredMust have a current drivers license meet YMCA insurance requirements to operate Y vehiclesAssociates degree in Facilities Management or related fieldAdditional experience may offset some of the educational requirementAdditional Requirements:
Criminal Clearance:
Including Fingerprints and background clearance, TB Test, and health screeningExperience & Background:

years of maintenance and facilities experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Word and Outlook, use of office machines, and organizational skills required.
3 years of experience in a supervisory role required.
Complete all required pre-employment online training(s).

Indoor and outdoor facilities (schools, parks, camps, and recreational sites); exposure to heat, cold, potentially hazardous chemicals, toxic materials; work on slippery or uneven surfaces.
